Welcome to the brand new chapter of the Carrotmob movement.

My name is Niel and I’m here to recruit you! I want you to join our Carrotmob in Flanders.

Carrotmob is a easy to comprehend and simple to execute. I’m really only asking you do to ONE thing … shop! Shop to make a difference, shop to be part of something. If shopping makes you feel good, carrotmob is gonna make you feel awesome and proud of yourself.

The plan?

One store is the lucky target of our coordinated shopping spree and in return they invest a % of our money in making their store more Eco friendly.

Important to know! We are not trying to improve stores like Delhaize, Colruyt or Carrefour, but are focusing on small neighbourhood stores.

How are we gonna do this?

Step 1

Carrotmob isn’t very well known in Flanders so we gonna create a buzz first. Get the word out to as many people as possible. How do you help? Join our Facebook group and invite your friends. When you see a friend, tell him the idea and ask what he thinks of it.

Step 2

One was easy… two is easier. Once our numbers are strong, we gonna decide as to what town we gonna mob first. Now this could be just by popular vote, or if someone says “I wanna be the one organizing a Carrotmob in Antwerp, or Ghent, or Mechelen, then by all means, go for it.

Step 3

If you’re really passionate about the idea, you can help us find ‘the store’ we are gonna shop at. The store that’s most willing to put our money to good use will be the one we mob.

Step 4

We set a mobbing date, you clear your agenda, invite your friends to come with ya and we see each other at step 5.

Step 5

Carrotmob Day has finally come to Flanders and the time has come for you to get up on your feet and join us in shopping. We might even turn the whole thing in a party.
